325 That the allowance for boots be increased from $12 per annum to 824 per annum.

The cost of boots has increased, and that at least four pairs per amun are required, and that these cost 88 to 89 a pair.

That two days leave per month be granted to the European Members of the Force.

Petitioners say that Members of most Home Forces get one day's leave in each seven days. They only ask for two days per month, whica is considered little enough, when the conditions prevailing in the Streets after midnight, are taken into considera- -tion,
